Hiking & Coaching

Hiking & Coaching

As well as online Zoom and in person sessions, I also offer the combined benefit of hiking & coaching. If you enjoy hiking and want Leadership Coaching in a fabulous setting, this is for you!

These sessions provide a reflective retreat that is ideal for some time-out reflection and planning, exploring or starting a new challenge, or coping with burn-out.

The clear thinking and inspiration are one of  the  benefits of walking  outdoors are well researched. Combined with the benefit of coaching side-by-side  as opposed to facing each other, these hiking and coaching sessions (tailored to your ability) integrate these 5 to 6 hour coaching and hiking session delivers both benefits.

I have over 30 years experience of hiking and I'm currently working my way around the Wales coastal path. If you'd like to join me for a day of coaching and hiking here is a proposed itinerary is provided below. Hiking and Coaching can also be arranged in other parts of the UK is this is more convenient for you.

Whether visiting me in West Wales or hiking in another part of the UK, the programme includes bespoke pre-work to ensure you maximise this opportunity.

  • The walk finishes with a descent into Borth (see the glorious picture above), where we visit a coffee shop to draw the coaching to a close.
  • Return home on the train from Borth, perhaps via Aberystwyth (12 minutes away) if you have luggage to collect, or stay another night and enjoy one of the many excellent eateries in Aberystwyth (I can provide recommendations)
